The Story Behind Dolce Organic Salon

Every business has a beginning. Ours began with one remarkable woman whose strength, compassion, and vision continue to inspire us every day.
Linda wasn’t just the founder of Dolce Organic Salon—she was its heart.

A Journey That Changed Everything

Two decades ago, Linda received a life-changing diagnosis: pancreatic cancer. During her treatment and recovery, she became passionate about living a healthier lifestyle and learned firsthand the importance of reducing everyday toxins whenever possible.
That experience transformed the way she viewed beauty, wellness, and self-care.
Rather than simply returning to life as she knew it, Linda chose to create something meaningful—a salon where guests could enjoy exceptional beauty services while embracing healthier, more natural products.
In September 2008, that vision became Dolce Organic Salon.
From the very beginning, Linda believed beauty and wellness should go hand in hand. She carefully selected organic and biodynamic products, created a welcoming atmosphere, and built a salon where every guest would feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely appreciated.
As Linda often shared:

“I wanted to open a salon that would offer others seeking a healthier, more organic lifestyle a way to integrate that into their beauty regimen.”

Those words became the foundation of everything Dolce stands for today.

More Than a Salon

Over the years, Dolce Organic Salon became much more than a place to receive hair, skin, and spa services.
It became a community.
Linda had an extraordinary ability to make people feel seen, valued, and important. Whether you were visiting for the first time or had been a client for years, she greeted everyone with warmth, kindness, and a genuine interest in their lives.
Many clients became lifelong friends. Team members became family. Her passion for helping others look and feel their best created relationships that continue to define our salon today.

A Lasting Legacy

In 2022, after building Dolce into one of Northeast Ohio’s premier organic salons and spas, Linda passed the business on to new ownership.
Although she sold the salon, she wasn’t ready to say goodbye.
She continued working behind the chair, doing what she loved most—connecting with clients, creating beautiful hair, sharing stories, and making people smile. Her dedication to her guests never changed.
In February 2026, after another courageous battle with cancer, Linda passed away.
While we miss her deeply, her influence remains part of everything we do.
