My name is Destiney and I graduated from Lorain County JVS with my diploma in cosmetology in the spring of 2023 and became board certified shortly after. I love all aspects of the cosmetology field but my passion is nails, specifically Gel X. From a young age I’ve had an eye for creativity and detail, which naturally drew me to the world of nail art. I take pride in my craft and love seeing satisfied clients after each session.

I am experienced working with all skin types from pre-teen to mature. I specialize and certified in organic facials, a variety of fruit peels, relaxation massage as well as permanent hair removal.
In addition, I also perform Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, Oxygen therapy, Laser Hair Removal, and Electrolysis.

My journey in health care started as an RN in Medical-surgical unit at Cleveland Clinic. Afterward, I graduated as a Nurse practitioner. I was able to pursue my dream and work in a functional medicine practice which is my passion.
Working in functional medicine made me recognize the importance of self-care. Self-care is essential for physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being. I believe feeling good and looking good are two sides of the same coin. I decided to enter the beauty industry as it completes my other job.
I am thankful to enter the beauty industry and it is so rewarding to work in such an environment and reputable place.
